Typically, the entire process (production + delivery) takes 7 weeks.
Shipment
Shipping by courier pallet. Poland: PLN 200 (Euro pallet, fronts up to 120 cm) or PLN 350 (oversized, over 120 cm). EU: PLN 300 / 550. Front samples are sent free of charge.
How does it work?
You can order fronts in two ways: through the online configurator (if you know what you need) or through a quote (if you have a design, a unique layout, or want us to review it). For a quote, send your design from the IKEA planner, photos, or a list of fronts to kontakt@ogony.pl .

Packing and Shipping
Each door front is manually checked before shipping: dimensions, color, and hinge holes. We pack on a EURO PALLET, each front individually in PROTECTIVE FILM and foam, and the corners in cardboard. You will receive tracking by email immediately after dispatch.
Custom production
We make every front from scratch in our workshop in BYDGOSZCZ. Extending PAX, shortening METOD doors, making a discontinued FAKTUM – everything is NO PROBLEM. Lacquer (Farrow & Ball, NCS, RAL), veneer, or plywood. Lead time 7 WEEKS.
Execution
High-quality MDF board. Two finishes: SEMI-MATTE or GLOSS. Holes for IKEA hinges are drilled with a precise CNC MACHINE, assembly as with original fronts. We reproduce planner dimensions 1:1, up to 280 CM.

Everything you need to know before ordering fronts for IKEA systems
Do your fronts fit my IKEA cabinets?
Yes. We make fronts suitable for all current IKEA systems: METOD, FAKTUM, PAX, PLATSA, BESTÅ. The holes for IKEA hinges are drilled with a precise CNC machine, so you screw the fittings exactly where the old fronts were. No modifications are needed.
How long does it take to process an order?
7 weeks from the payment being credited. We produce each front from scratch, to your dimensions, in our workshop in Bydgoszcz. Nothing from stock, nothing off the shelf.
What is the difference between a lacquered and a veneered front?
Lacquered: uniform color (Farrow & Ball, NCS, RAL), perfectly smooth surface.
Veneered: thin layer of natural wood covered with polyurethane lacquer. Each front has a unique wood grain pattern.
Care in both cases is the same: a damp cloth, no abrasive detergents.
What colors are available for lacquered fronts?
Practically any. 150+ Farrow & Ball shades, full NCS and RAL palette. If you have a specific color code, we'll match it.
What finishes are available?
Two: semi-matte (standard) or glossy. Semi-matte offers discreet color depth without reflections. Glossy gives a glass-like effect and reflects light. Single-sided varnish included. Double-sided varnish: 20% surcharge.
Can I order a custom size?
Yes, up to 280 cm in height. Extending PAX by 20 cm, shortening METOD doors to an unusual height, making a discontinued FAKTUM front, fronts for non-IKEA cabinets. No problem.
Does veneer require oiling or special care?
No. We coat the veneers with polyurethane varnish, so you clean them the same way as lacquered fronts: with a damp cloth, without abrasive detergents. They do not require oiling or waxing.
How are the fronts packaged for shipping?
Euro pallet, each front individually wrapped in protective film and foam, corners protected with cardboard. Before shipping, we manually check the dimensions, color, and holes. You will receive tracking information via email immediately after dispatch.
Can I order a sample before purchasing?
Yes. A sample costs PLN 79, which we deduct from the order for fronts. It's a rectangle with your chosen finish (lacquer color or veneer type) in its actual texture. This is the most reliable way to see the color live, in your own lighting.
Can I return the order?
The fronts are custom-made to your individual dimensions, so they are non-returnable (in accordance with Article 38 of the Consumer Rights Act). Therefore, we strongly encourage you to order a sample before finalizing your order to ensure the color and finish are to your liking.
